AUDI is expected to enter the supermini sector with the unveiling of a model that will pave the way for the launch of an A1 range.
A concept car, called the ‘metroproject quattro’ was unveiled at this month’s Tokyo Motor Show. The baby Audi will also be used to showcase a range of hybrid engines.
A production version of the concept is expected to make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in September next year, with sales starting in early 2009. (Audi/Auto Express: October 24).
